Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-07-12
These Terms govern your use of QR Tool("the Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to them.
1. The service
QR Tool lets you create static and dynamic QR codes, host simple pages behind them, and view scan analytics. Static codes work forever with no account. Dynamic codes route through our short link so you can edit the destination after printing.
2. Our core promise
We will not deactivate a QR code you created simply because a trial ended or you downgraded. If you stop paying, your codes keep redirecting and only premium features (such as new dynamic codes or analytics beyond your plan) pause. The one exception is code (3) below.
3. Acceptable use & takedowns
You may not use the Service to link to or host:
- Phishing, malware, or other malicious content;
- Illegal content, or content that infringes others' rights;
- Spam or deceptive schemes.
We may disable a code that violates this section (our sole exception to the promise above), following an abuse report or automated safety check. Report abuse at /report.
4. Accounts
You are responsible for your account and for keeping your password secure. You must verify your email to use all features.
5. Plans, billing & cancellation
Paid plans are billed through our Merchant of Record. You can cancel anytime from your account; cancellation stops future charges and your account returns to the Free plan (your codes keep working). Refunds are handled per the policy shown at checkout.
6. API
API access is included on eligible plans subject to the request quotas and rate limits shown in your dashboard. Do not attempt to circumvent quotas or abuse the API.
7. Warranty & liability
The Service is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. [Lawyer to finalize limitation-of-liability and warranty disclaimers for your jurisdiction.]
8. Changes
We may update these Terms; material changes will be notified by email or in-app. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
